GIS Field Work to Begin

GIS Field Work to Begin

Prince George Electric Cooperative has contracted with Davey Resource Group to gather field GIS data for use in a mapping project. Associates from Davey Resource will be traveling in a white pickup truck and will be wearing yellow vests as they conduct the field work.

Work in the Garysville area (including Heritage Rd., Centennial Rd., Hines Rd., and Pole Run Rd.) is expected to begin June 22 and conclude by July 6 and may include weekends.

Phase II of the project will be in the general proximity of our Rowanty substation in the Carson area (including Baugh Rd., Halifax Rd., and Troublefield Rd.).  This field activity will begin the week of July 5 and continue for approximately 3 weeks.  PGEC wants to communicate this project activity to our members in case you see these associates working in our service territory.

As the second phase of this project begins, we will update the next areas where work will continue.

Please phone PGEC at 804.834.2424 should you have any questions.
