November 24, 2015 - Continued field work on PGEC's GIS project by Davey Resources will now shift to the general area served by the Bakers Pond substation. Areas include Lamore Dr., Wildwood Farms, parts of Huckleberry Hills and the general area around Food Lion Distribution Center. Work may take 3 weeks to complete and will include weekends. Questions? November 9, 2015 - Continued field work on PGEC's GIS project will now shift to the general areas served by the Bakers Pond substation. Areas include East Quaker Rd. and Prince George Golf Course in Disputanta. Work is expected to begin around November 9, take about 2-3 weeks to complete, and may include weekends. Questions? Prince George Electric Cooperative has contracted with Davey Resource Group to gather field GIS data for use in a mapping project. Associates from Davey Resource will be traveling in a white pickup truck and will be wearing yellow vests as they conduct the field work.

August 21, 2015 - Continued field work on PGEC's GIS project will now shift to the general areas serviced by our New Bohemia substation. Areas include Bull Hill Rd., Lee Acres subdivision, Courthouse Rd., Baxter Rd., King's subdivision and Prince George Woods Estates. Work is expected to begin around September 1, take about 3 weeks to complete, and may include weekends.  Questions? Call 804.834.2424.

Work in the Garysville area (including Heritage Rd., Centennial Rd., Hines Rd., and Pole Run Rd.) is expected to begin June 22 and conclude by July 6 and may include weekends.

Phase II of the project will be in the general proximity of our Rowanty substation in the Carson area (including Baugh Rd., Halifax Rd., and Troublefield Rd.). This field activity will begin the week of July 5 and continue for approximately 3 weeks. PGEC wants to communicate this project activity to our members in case you see these associates working in our service territory.

As the second phase of this project begins, we will update the next areas where work will continue.
