Round Up For Education: Teachers Urged to Apply for Back-to-School Funds

Aug 18, 2024

Thanks to the generous donations of Prince George Electric Cooperative’s members, local teachers can offset the expense of buying supplies and educational materials for their students. This is possible because of their participation in the co-op’s Round Up for Education program.

Round Up for Education allows members to have their monthly bill rounded up to the next whole dollar with the extra pennies set aside for use by the local school of their choice.  Most recently, two teachers at Tidewater Academy received a total of $250 to purchase educational materials for their students.

As the new school year starts, teachers are encouraged to request funding at www.pgec.coop/round-up.
