Prince George Electric Cooperative in partnership with S&N Communications was proud to contribute to Wakefield United Methodist Church's House of Hope initiative during the holiday season. For the past two years, this partnership has spoken to the co-op’s mission to enhance the quality of life for the communities in which it serves.
Glenn Riggs, Pastor of Wakefield UMC, was there to receive the donation totaling $1,100 – with PGEC and S&N Communications each contributing $550. “It’s amazing to partner with our local community to help serve the people and to do so with someone who is serving the community so well already in our area. Seeing how we can all give back together is amazing.”
While the donation was recently made before the Christmas holiday, co-op senior communications specialist, Brittany Tann, says that community investments like this go beyond a season. “It warms my heart to know that I am a part of an organization that is not only concerned for our communities but is invested in forging partnerships that help improve everyday life for many.”
"At the heart of the holiday season is the spirit of compassion and generosity" said Brian Morehouse, S&N’s Director of Marketing. "We are honored to join hands with Wakefield UMC to ensure that no one feels forgotten or alone.”
PGEC encourages others in the community to support this worthy cause.
