Prince George Electric Cooperative recently held a blood drive at its headquarter office, inviting employees and community members to participate. The successful event collected 17 units which equates to 51 lives being saved.
Debbie Grein, executive assistant, helped organize the drive in collaboration with the American Red Cross. Grein expresses, “Being a part of the cooperative family, opportunities to contribute to the lives of others is always fulfilling. This selfless act will save the lives of many and create lasting benefits for those in need.”
The co-op thanks all who participated in sharing the gift of life and encourages everyone to consider participating in the future.
